Last weekend was Electrolux Warehouse Sale and I found out about it from everydayonsales site that I visit so often nowadays.
We arrive at the warehouse at 9.45AM ans saw some customers are already leaving the place with microwave, blender, induction cook etc. We quickly enter Menara Axis to 2nd Floor and I am so excited at the sight of washing machine and the fridge displayed in the hall and there’s already long queue at the cashier.
It was worthwhile to go as household appliances like Fridge, Washing Machine, Hood, Hob, Slim Hood, Chimney Hood, Induction cooker, Vacuum Cleaner, Iron, etc all selling with discount of at least 50% off.
There’s so many washing machine line up in the sale and I have trouble to choose. Luckily the Electrolux staff recommend this baby to me. Its a current model of 2 in 1 Front load Washer and Dryer.
Its one victorious buy and I am so happy I got this at RM1,390 with 6 months warranty about 55% off RM3,072 manufacturer price ( I think). I asked the staff why this item is so cheap?? Then he said it is slightly dented and point it out to me.Well, it is not obvious at all and I didn’t notice it.
The dent /defects are clearly shown on the paper and customers are well informed of it.
The Electrolux organizer did a good job in this sale event. The hall was spacious and air conditioned and lots of friendly staff. Every sales item has a A4 or B5 paper stick to it with retail price and discounted price clearly stated. For big items like Fridge, Washing Machine, Dryer, Hood & Hob and its big you can’t carry it to the cashier all you have to do is write your name down on the paper and you have 1 hour to decide and make payment for the sale item.
There are separate counters for Cash payment, Credit Card paymen, Extended Warranty, Warranty Card Drop box and Delivery Counter. Eventhough at times the queue looks quite long but they are efficient and fast. All delivery was done on the same day too and of course have to pay extra for the delivery which is still worth it.
I had my washing machine delivered to my sister home for now as I dont want to move it from my townhouse to the new home later as moving up and down the stairs will be too hard work for us.
Next hunt, refrigerator!Tweet
Hubby always thought its too much to be taking a day’s leave for shopping. Actually only during Isetan sale I will do that. Don’t Judge ok!!
It was the Grand Opening for the One Utama outlet and I have to wake up early as usual like working days coz need to send Hubby to work. After sending him, my niece and I head to One Utama for McDonald. Well that’s the plan!! Breakfast before starting to Q for the Free Goodie Bag.
There’s no one in the mall, except workers. Its only 9AM and this is the first time I ever come to a mall this early
On the way to McDonald we past by Isetan and look!!! If Hubby says I am Kiasu, there are 48 people infront of us that are more Kiasu than us. We have to forgone our initial plan of breakfast and head down to Q aswell. 10-15 Minutes later, the Q has tripled and increasing. By 10AM, they’ve reached 300 Customers mark.
The goody bag was given really quickly, alot of the management level is there to help out- easily 10 Jepun expat was there. Its a smooth process, as we entered the entrance got our goodie bag and head on to the 1st floor – The Children department. My first target, to get anything in the Children department and get another Children Goody bag!! Wahahhahaha there’s only 100 per day to be given out.
Fitflop for 149MYR!! Pretty good deal and this time they have even more stock in store and really alot of customers are aiming to get those slippers. I’ve got mine last year so I did not join in the ‘fun’

Use it to buy for our brunch. Instead of McDonald, now we got to eat Ramen, 2 bowl or ramen and 2 glass of cold Green Tea for MYR35 after deduct from MYR15 voucher we got. I’m pleased. The food is good! This ramen rest, open inside Isetan on the 2nd floor is only open from Thursday – Sunday. Hochak!!! Nice Nice.. they even have a Korean Rest namely ‘Won’ not very sure, they have a sushi bar too, and Hokaido Ramen rest, and 2-3 more coming up!!
Now we are heading to the parking. If you are an Isetan member, don’t forget to get the Parking Rebate Voucher ya!! They give back MYR2 Rebate Voucher for now. Probably in future, it will be Parking Voucher like in KLCC – not sure.
Poor Jessminn, the bags are heavy and she have to drag them.

The Isetan Tartan Tote looks like this. By 11.45AM the I Club staff announced that all 500 bags was redeemed. Habis!! You must be thinking how come I keep track of the time, I just happen to be there okay. I’m not obsessive of keeping track of time, it just happen that way on that day.
Actually I did not buy anything for myself, the frying pan is for the new house, and the toys are birthday gifts!! None for myself.
I am proud!!

Okay, If you ever wondered what I bought or shop in Singapore…….
I definitely did not have a great time for real shopping except Window Shop coz everything and every price I see have to multiply by 2.5 with normal price item as the Singapore SALE is gone.
Still I bought something Singapore, The TWG Tea at Takashimaya.
I am a sucker for nice packaging, since they offered gift wrapping I happily ask them to wrap all four tins of tea I bought.
The next time I head to Singapore, I will definitely make a trip to TWG Tea Salon and Boutique in ION Orchard to sip a cup of the many choices of tea blend they have as well as try out their cakes and macarons.
This time I miss the opportunity as I dont have enough time and I wish to do this alone. Just seat back and relax without the need to look at the watch.
H&M has arrived in Singapore, Orchard Road! It was the Official Opening day on 3rd September and look at the queue? It was miles long .. long.. long. Didn’t get a chance to go in :(
Do you know about this promotion? I think its a pretty good deal that you shouldn’t miss especially what Cold Storage offers is 72% discount on Zwilling JA Henckels utensils!!
Ok, so have most of the things here (not this brand lah), but not a pastry server and I got myself one.. RM19.90 only. Cheap dou….
CERTIFICATION ¨made in Green¨
Then I go dig from the internet with the assumption that probably the material of the cloth made of organic cotton (ya lah for the price I pay I thought I can get organic cotton haha).
Made in Green as described in Aitex website, is a label on a product which stands for Green quality based on three pillars: Contains no Noxious substances. Respect EnvironmentSocial Criteria with respect of human rights and universal human rights.
For the social criteria, its comparison of western textile with the China textile I think, coz China textile are dirt cheap and no western manufacturer can fight with them on the pricing at all I presume, hence their objective (copied) “Made in Green” is that globalisation goes hand in hand with the three precepts described above, and that market competence is not achieved at a human cost, but justly and with equality, as is laid down under western law.
Also bought a vest from Bershka, a new brand available in Mid Valley, their apparels are so young and hip!! I have been looking for a cute vest and at last found it at Bershka so happy!!! (psst.. wear vest so my boobs looks bigger)
