Secretaries Week at JW Marriot
Posted by blurcheryl in Celebrations, Work, Work, Work on May 5, 2011
In many ways this year’s April has been a month full of memorable events, even with the fact that I missed going to Japan (balik2 emo Japan). Having said that, right this moment I wouldn’t trade it to be any different. Unbelieveable right? Its actually quite an awesome month though not forgetting to mention I had a wonderful time celebrating Jynn’s Birthday and also participated in the Longkang Bowling Championship. I think it could be over a century the last time I actually engage in such activity. Bowling la I mean.
Before April ends, I was also invited to the Secretaries Week Celebration at JW Marriot. Awesome!!
I asked Anna to come along to join the fun too! Look she is really on her way to build herself a new reputation.. She wore Pink?? I should have said this to her “Welcome welcome Datin Ng ‘Si Wen! Dont be mean!!” fml she does look damn ‘Si Wen’ in this photo!
The stage decorations..
Before the show begin, these are the drinks, appetizers and entrees.
Emcee of the day, Xandria Ooi who recently got married. She’s got gorgeous body and she has a powerful voice! I think I will also look stunning in that dress of hers. *pretentious laughing*
First, we had a wonderful hilarious laugh with Harith Iskandar the stand up comedian eventhough I’ve heard his joke before.
Then we enjoyed a beautiful and delicious Chicken Stuffed with creamy spinach and Grilled Salmon accompanied with Mashed Potatoes and Rissotto! The servings are just right and it has pleasing flavour complementing each other. What a Lovely Meal!
The Legendary Francissca Peter was also invited to perform that day. One word: Merdu!!!
What comes at the end of the meal? Desserts!! and a cuppa coffee!
Each of the guest received a goodie bag and those who paid for the luncheon are eligible for lucky draw.
Too bad we are not paying guest wahahahha but we had a wonderful time.

They want my job
Posted by blurcheryl in Family & Friends, Work, Work, Work on March 1, 2011
I often hear my nieces told me that they want to do my job when they grew up.
I think they didn’t fully understand what my job is about and what my job did to me! Lets just hope they still think my job is an ideal one *to keep me going* but I will still make sure they get the message of “Do not dream to want my job ~in future”.
Serious! I will convince them!
I LIE!
Eventually God will witness I don’t even have to use my brain at all to brainwash them coz one day after they finish school, none of them will want to want my job. Why? Because one of them wanted to be an Accountant, another one wanted to be a Doctor and the youngest one want a job that makes the most money an Actuarist!
There… I just refresh their memory -if they read this post.
I guess they wont want my job anymore and everything has changed right after this post.

R.I.P. Mr. T. Takahashi
The last time I saw You, You were Jolly, The last few months You were here, You were Full of High Spirits, The last I thought I can talk to You, It Never materialise as You were too sick, The last I heard about You, “it was just Yesterday” I was hoping for Miracle, And Today, To Learn about Your Departure, In Memory I felt Its was just Yesterday I Heard You Laugh, And How You Tried to Crack a Joke that I figure I should laugh, Rest In Peace Takahashi-san, You are Remembered FOREVER! Sumi-ka, a yakitori restaurant famously known and frequented by Japanese community here, open in more or less about 2 years ago. A reservation is a must to dine there, or you will be dissapointed by making a trip to this busy side of Subang Jaya with all the traffic congestion.
My fond memories of Sumi-ka, was the first time I dine here abt 1-2 yrs ago with Fujimoto-san, in one of his farewell dinner alongside with Go-san to accompany him. The bill comes up to RM700-900 that night with about 7 of us dining there, in a cramp table for 4 . Yeah, table for 4 pax but 7 of us sitting there. They only got 2 big tables, and its fully booked, way before. Crazy!!
Another farewell dinner at Sumi-ka this time, for Go-san. So sad! Sumi-ka seems like a place for us to say our good byes. We had a great time there, fun filled with naughty laughters from ham-sap remarks in Nihon-jin (Japanese language). Go-san convinced us, he’ll get sued in Japan for Sexual Harrassment.
Some of the words we learn that night: For laughter only!
Meaning: yoshi yoshi (sayang) Meaning: chin chin (little boy’s banana) Meaning: Oh (politely said tone) Meaning: pet pet ( slap) Meaning: Chin Kuk (Adult banana) Meaning: Mang Kuk (boobs pussy) Meaning: Shi ri (ass) Oh chin chin yoshi yoshi (politely said: sayang the chin chin) Oh chin chin pet pet (politely said: slap the chin chin) Oh Shi ri pet pet (politely said: slap the ass) Oh Chin Kuk pet pet (politely said: slap the chin kuk) ” Go-san said: You cannot do that” Oh Chin Kuk yoshi yoshi (politely said: Sayang the chin kuk) “Go-san said: Men will turn on when they hear that” Oh Mang kuk pet pet (politely said: Slap the boobs pussy) ” Go-san got turned on, but immediately turned off when we said tweety bird” Tweety bird is an inside joke.Yakitori that we had: Oishiiiiiiiii……………………………………

This month I will have a shorten lunch time and change of working hours, because its Fasting month! Get to go home earlier by 30 minutes. So happy! Lucky my office is not far from home, so the traffic wont be so bad as all the muslims rushing back home to break fast with family and friends and relatives and whoever la.
Then end of the month got 4 days holiday. Syoknya. I like Hari Raya la because I don’t have to prepare angpow yet I can enjoy long holiday!
